The Villain Simulator Beta 17 now on Itch

So what is new in this build, lets see:

X-Ray Holo Interface

Now you can see what is happening inside the heroes, for now you will see the same object being inserted but I will work on it to make it reflect whatever you are actually using. Plus next time on a future update you will have to be more careful because going too deep will cause some serious damage.

Desktop Mode Bow

I brought functionality to the Bow for no VR Players, it behaves very similar and it auto loads a new arrow after use.

Game Settings

So as you might know already at some points the settings launcher is no longer available on the latest builds, but I got you covered and added an in-game settings screen where you can configure the game to run with whatever options make your PC Happy.

Improved Whip for VR

We are aware the whip was very difficult to use in VR as it would not react to the impulse we were giving. I rewrote it all and now is easier to manipulate to the point you can aim to the same point and get a hit where you want it.

Better Hair and Skin

Let me know what do you think, all hairs now have adequate textures and the light on the hair reflects correctly. I also added some basic hair dynamics.

As for the skin, I added a secondary detail texture to all characters, can you notice it?

A lot of bug fixes

  • Fixed issue where you could not select one hero anymore
  • Fixed issue where some pickup items would appear purple
  • Fixed Whip colliding with itself
  • Fixed weird toy interaction animations
  • Fixed Automata Skirt not being double sided
  • Fixed correct Tifany red eyes and added earrings
  • Fixed issue where Tiffany would not be correctly affected by physics
  • Adjusted Catgirl's mesh to avoid skin clipping
  • Fix issue where hand to mouth interaction would not work in Desktop Mode

Tried the demo, and can't seem to interact much with setting in vr. Are there plans to support Windows Mixed Reality headsets and controllers?

Hello,  You can interqact with the settings menu on your monitor with the mouse, then start the game on VR. Windows Mixed Reality is currently supported, you might need to setup your custom bindings.
