Hey, i just bought your game like 20 days ago. I have MetaQUEST 2. Starting your game but game does not see my Oculust controllers. Someone said below at the comments to fix but I cant set controller to default in SteamVR, it stuck, can you help?
This is a very fun and great game but I am ashamed that this does not work for I bought the game for £20.00.
loading into the game works, customisation works great for characters. the detail and graphic designs are amazing. voices acting is good and the mechanics are great.
every time I load into the game the characters don't spawn on the equipment and you cant use any of the fun setting or anything like that for it is very frustrating and annoying the fact I buy this game and it doesn't work but you can get a free copy of 0.36 a demo that has everything and it work perfectly and smoothly and the women actually spawn on the equipment and the touch screen to change to other positions work were as when I use the touch screen I can only use the coach and that's it. if I try to change the woman they just die or don't even spawn on the equipment.
I have gone into the file and tried to fix so errors but still seem not to work.
iv tired for this for 2 weeks and I give up......
is there any chance I can get my money back ??? I'm sorry I'm going to be sticking to the demo for free on the internet thank you and have good rest of the day, was so hyped when I got this but its such a let down that it doesn't work SAD FACE :C

So with both TVS-36 and TVS-36-1 downloads, it seems that enabling "Reflections" (anything from Low to High) causes some visual glitches.
So I'm looking around and there are annoying half translucent blue/white blotches - kind alike having annoying reflections of a visor in front of your eyes, so no matter where you look they don't go away. Turning "Reflections" OFF made them go away.
My setup is : RX6700 XT / Windows11 / Quest 1 + Link cable with SteamVR.
PS: while I am here, after playing a bit with the various modes that hold the heroine in place - there is a bug where the half-circle metallic thingy that holds the heroine's hips remains spawned in the air - it won't go away no matter if you switch back and forth with other modes. So last night eg. when I went to the dance mode I had this "half ring" piece floating in front of the seat between me and the dancing heroine.
Heard through the grapevine that you've axed the catgirl from the official roster to make room for a new character. Any particular reason that the game has to only have 10 slots pre-made characters/5 for custom?
There is no reason at all, for vanilla characters I will add the ones required for the game story. For custom characters we are thinking a way to make a scrolled view for extra slots
So I guess the catgirl didn't work for the story then? And it isn't as bad if we get more custom slots, it was kind of disappointing to lose a custom slot to keep a 'standard' character.
I love the "catwoman" (all leather clad) heroine - I feel like the voices just fit her character so well.
As a suggestion just in general it would be good if you could have a bunch of presets you can load directly in the character creator. I'd wager most of your users dont want to spend an hour in there and the character creator - while awesome - is also quite daunting.
Having a way to load the existing heroines to tweak them , like just chaning a color, or hairstyle is one way to make it easier for people to customize.
And another thing I would add is a way to load a bunch of presets without having to download anything nor spend time on Discord, nor download them from Patreon. Something like a list of say 10-20 good presets that people can start with. Then, hopefully you could save "Catwoman" in there.
While I'm here I would also add as a new player it is a confusing experience to see the character from the title screen, which is also featured in Rob Cram's video and seemingly have no access to her.
If memory serves correctly, the girl on the title screen is the last one you 'played' with. And the Dev likes to make premade templates you can slot into the custom character creator and use... Although the download link for these templates appear to be a patreon exclusive perk, hence why you can't access the girl you're looking for.

Yeah, same here... The kitty was the tipping point/reason I even bought this game(not really a fan of most VR stuff). Apparently her clothing parts/hair are still in the character creator, so you can re-make her as a custom character... But I have no idea if there is any way to just copy her file into custom mode, so you'll have to remake her base body. Also it sounds like there are more then a few updates/tweaks aiming for the foot crowd, so hopefully future updates don't axe the 'monster limb' morphs due to animation issues.

I’d like more toys, and there is nothing for nipples……i refuse to milk people. It would be nice to have bullet vibrator or ohmibod vibrator. Or simply toys you can attach to sensitive parts like nipples, clitoris or feet, leave it there and then grab one of many very cool but completely unused pagers to remotely controll those toys. I’d like to know if you plan to add such or any toys, or use objects around labs like pagers or computers in some way.

I just downloaded the beta 33, but for some reason it seems to be conflicting with steam VR. It gets stuck on a loading screen and ill notice that steamVR has stopped responding. I have no idea what would be causing this conflict, everything is up to date and i have no issues with other games through steamVR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I cannot play because I get the spinning in circle glitch every time. I don't have anything plugged into my pc, tired both a wired and wireless mouse and have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice and still constant spinning.
some inputs like a steering wheel, a flight controller and even virtual gamepads can cause this issue. Unplug anything then close and restart the game. We are looking to fix this issue.
I have a macbook with an M1 chip and the download for mac will not work. I have tried different unzipping tools and to down load off of different browsers.
“TheVillainSimulator” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
How to play it through Oculus Link/SteamVR? When starting, it gets displayed on my PC Monitor and not on my HMD. When clicking option for VR, it says start steamvr and controllers, but all hardware is already up and running, even getting audio pass-through but no display in vr.
I just Can´t get this game to work with quest 2. Im only able to look around in vr but not use controllers or move. steamvr detects all devices but still nothing . any ideas?
thx. yes its seems like it is a binding issue. its stuck on "custom" and i think setting it to default would fix this. Overall the settings Ui gets very laggy and glitchy when trying to do this. I googled this and turns out you need to dig deep and mess with steamVR files abit to get it work.

Got it. No, I won't give Steam keys, however you should not buy the game twice. Once you own it on Itch you will get all updates and all versions Steam will. No need to purchase it twice and I won't be forcing players buy it twice since every Itch user will have the full version. Regards
I bought this game on Mac and I'm having trouble starting the download. I go to the download page and try to start it and it doesn't work. I also tried the alternate download option, but that doesn't work either. Could someone help me with this?

When the game fully releases as version 1.0 you will have access to it. After that, If I decide to add expansions and an extra version of the game that would be sold as a different product.
This game is so promising. If you enable the modding feature like ESV:S did, the game will become a huge bomb to that ESV:S's modding society. Those masterminds are absolute genius that turned a wholesome adventure AAA-game into a wtf world. Btw, i bought this game from this site and it turns out to be an outdated version. Will it be updated anytime soon and will i be able to play the updated version as well, without any extra fee? or should i pay for monthly premium on Patreon to get the latest but unofficial version of this game?
Hello. The game actually supports to be moded, some moders have created some fancy stuff altho they have not published it for some reason.
The version on Itch.io is the official public version of the game, you can join Patreon or SubscribeStar to get the internal versions which are still being tested by users on those communities.
Next version is almost ready and will be published here once I publish yet another version on Patreon, official public versions on Itch ane delayed 2 versions behind of what is being tested on Patreon

Seems an issue with your configuration of Oculus and SteamVR. Please make sure all apps are up to date and your Oculus's firmware is also up to date

Hello, it is possible that some saved files are corrupted. Can you try deleting this whole folder?
\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\ZnelArts\TheVillainSimulator\

Is it possible to export the character and import it into a custom slot? Gotta admit "feli-cia" sold me the game.

Check you have the latest SteamVR, the Oculus app, GPU and your Quest updates.

Itch.io and Steam are different stores, hence they do not transfer purchases between them.

If there is a way to make the game playable on a quest 2, I've put it through sidequest but it won't work
